Say 'I Do' in Berlin: Outdoor Wedding Event this Saturday

With the long-awaited arrival of an upscale bridal boutique, the historic town of Berlin, MD was poised and ready to launch an all-out campaign to convince prospective brides to say “I Do” in Berlin.
Following the highly successful Berlin Wedding/Art Stroll in June 2012, the town’s merchants found the clientele and interest they always believed was there. Their next step was to create a wedding event that would put Berlin on the map as a wedding destination.
Berlin has many historic venues that have all had outstanding renovations. Quaint and unique weddings could be created – from the ceremony thru the reception – with all of the essential wedding parties forming a grand celebration. Teamwork between bridal vendors in the town can result in a fantastic and magical wedding; start to finish, easily and locally.
With the many wedding-related services – from beauty, apparel, flowers, jewelry, registry, culinary, to photography – this wedding event simply marks the beginning of a beautiful relationship. Brides, past and prospective, who are searching for one-of-a-kind wedding information, can head to Berlin for experience and reliability.
Say 'I Do' in Berlin is the town’s premier wedding event. The event has been scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 29th, 2012 along Main Street and Broad Street. The outdoor wedding show will include over 30 vendors and offer displays of wedding-related products, services, and previews.
Future brides can register their wedding on the Say ‘I Do’ in Berlin website. By registering, participants will receive discounts from select vendors and will be entered to win several prizes. Prizes include one honeymoon getaway vacation package, a one-night’s stay at The Edge in Ocean City, a one-night's stay at the Waystead Inn in Berlin, cooking classes with chef Eric from the Waystead, gift certificates for various businesses locally, and many other hand-made and fun wedding gifts. Entrants must be present at the even to win.

Vendors will be set up alon Main Street and Broad Street in Berlin.
11 am
Vintage Bridal Fashion Show
The Atlantic Hotel
Step back in time to eras past with vintage dresses graciously donated by Calvin B. Taylor Museum, Julia A. Purnell Museum, Little Miss Lovely, and local Berlin residents.
11 am – 1 pm
Berlin Church Tours
Stevenson United Methodist Church, Buckingham Presbyterian Church, and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church These fine churches will all open their doors for tours.
11 am – 2 pm
Grooms Event
The Waystead Inn

Trousseau Fashion Show
The Globe
Make packing for your honeymoon a breeze with these fabulous fashion finds provided by Bruder Hill and Little Miss Lovely.

Bridal Fashion Show
Main Street
End the day with Berlin’s first bridal boutique, Bustle, and enjoy an open-air fashion show in front of the Atlantic Hotel.
